Ok, first let me say this is my first time ever posting a deck on here so be nice to me.
So this is the deck that I went 3-0 with at a MN local. I know I know, it's not a great record but what can I say, it was a small tourney. But hey, Justin Alstad was there (notice I don't mention that he was playing or not). The person who came in 7th at MN states was there, and yes, he was playing.
Follow up:
Dominants (8)
- Angel of the lord
- Son of God
- New Jerusalem
- Guardian of your Souls
- Christian Martyr
- Burial
- Destruction of Nehushtan
- Falling Away
If you don't know how to use these, look at Gabe's article.
Lost Souls (7)
- Revealer
- Site Doubler
- N.T.-Only
- First-Round Protect
- Female-Only
- Site Hand Discard
- Lost Souls (2-line)
So as you can see most of my Lost Souls either have to do with Sites or kind of act as a little defense on their own. Such as the 1st rounder which can't be rescued the fist round it's in play, except by an angel or a Dominant. And then the female-only, N.T.-only, and then the 2 liner which you can let get rescued once and then bury it.
Sites (6)
- Babylon x5
- Babylonian Banquet Hall
So the Site strategy here is pretty obvious: you have lots of Babylons so you can put a lot in Babylonian Banquet Hall so that you never run out of room to put Lost Souls.
Artifacts, Covenants, and Curses (5)
- Unholy Writ
- Chariot of Fire
- David's Harp
- Wastelands
- Captured Ark
Unholy Writ: If they happen to break through my Sites, I'll hopefully have Unholy Writ up to stop em.
Chariot of Fire: To get my Heroes back if they get devourered or great imaged etc.
David's Harp: Works well with Seeker of the Lost.
Wastelands: Puts their access Site to the bottom.
Captured Ark: Shuffles in those nasty Site access cards and anti-banding cards.
Heroes (10)
- Claudia (can band to Simeon, Seeker of the Lost, Ethiopian Treasurer, and Parmenas)
- Jacob (FoOF) (can band with Captain of the Host)
- Seeker of the Lost (can be devastating with her ability to reveal the top 3 cards of any draw pile and put them on the bottom)
- Ethiopian Treasurer (can play any Enhancement before the opponent can even block)
- Widow (cant be blocked by Evil Chracter with toughness */8 or higher, and another Hero to play AoCP on and Ezekiel's Stick)
- Parmenas (another Hero to play AoCP and Ezekiel's Stick, and can play The Word Spreads un-negate-ably)
- Captain of the Host (is big and by the numbers)
- Phinehas, Son of Eleazar (can't be captured or converted, can play Zeal for the Lord)
- King Amaziah (can choose one evil king of Israel to block)
- Simeon (can band to Captain of the Host)
Good Enhancements (10)
- Ezekiel's Stick (bands in any Hero, who would not want that?)
- Zeal for the Lord (amazing battle winner)
- Abraham's Servant to Ur (you can band Claudia to ET, then play it and you have a 12/12 BTN)
- Vengeance of Eternal Fire (discards 2 Sites)
- Authority of Christ (promo) (it just wins)
- Great Faith (pretty clear why its in here)
- The Word Spreads (CBN if played on Parmenas)
- Obedience of Noah (can be played on Jacob before the battle starts to choose the blocker)
- Reach of Desperation (draws 3 cards and interrupts)
- Jacob's Dream (I get to steal one of their sites)
Evil Characters (6)
- King of Tyrus (Warriors)
- Uzzah
- Complainers
- King Zedekiah
- King Elah (choose your blocker)
- King Shallum (choose your blocker)
Evil Enhancements (4)
- Tanking Naboth's Vineyards
- Dungeon of Malchiah
- Gibeonite Trickery
- Korah's Rebellion
So basically, it's a Site lock deck with a very small brown defense and a splash offense thats mostly CBN and banding, or play before the battle begins.
Hope you like it.
